My PC case has a empty slot in the front for a firewire plug-in. My mobo also has firewire pins on it. This card has internal firewire. So do I need some cabling that runs from my mobo or this card to the front of my PC case. I know this card and my mobo are 2 seperate things, but where do I find internal wiring for situations like this?

If your case has a built in firewire, it should have a firewire connection cable already attached, like a any front panel USB.

It's been a little while since I changed over cases, but as I recall I ran into an issue with this an my Sonata II, as the firewire header from the front of the case was a proper header connection (like USB ones), which didn't connect to the internal header on this card. Again, don't take this as proof it won't work for you, but it seems to be that I had some problem or another. If no one else gets back to you, I'll have a look tonight and repost.
