I feel dumb for just figuring this out, but all Olevia models have a hidden menu item called cropping which eliminates the default underscan, where the outside pixels of your screen aren't displayed and the image is grown by a few percent.

After days of screwing around with XWindows NVIDIA settings, I found a forum post talking about the cropping feature, and boom! Missing pixels displayed.

Thought I would share.
